WILL OF S. H. WILLIAMS
In The Name of God Amen
I, S. H. Williams of the County of Yuba, State of California, of the age of 57
years, and being of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not acting under
duress, menace, fraud or undue influence of any person whatever, do make,
publish and declare this my last will and testament in the manner following,
that is to say:
Firstly, I direct that after my death my body be decently buried in accordance
with my position and station in life and that out of my estate my executrix
hereinafter named first pay all my funeral expenses, expenses of my last illness
and my just debts and liabilities.
Secondly, All my property and estate of whatsoever kind or nature, and
wheresoever situate, I hereby devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Ellen
Williams, absolutely.
Thirdly, At the time of making this my last Will and Testament, my children,
Josephine Purdy, Katie Leyval, Henry G. Williams, Frank C.
Williams, Fred S. Williams, Mary E. Williams and Phoebe Ellen Forbes, daughter
of my deceased daughter Carrie Forbes, are all present before my mind, and the
omission on my part to devise or bequeath to them or any of them anything
herein, is on my part intentional.
Fourthly, I further direct that should it be or become necessary or expedient
for my executrix hereinafter named in the administration of my estate to sell
any thereof, whether real or personal, that she have and is hereby given full
power and authority so to do, at either public or private sale, with or without
notice, and without the necessity of obtaining any order of any Court so
authorizing her, and without giving any bonds in the matter of any such sales.
Lastly, I hereby nominate and appoint my wife, Ellen Williams, the executrix of
this my last Will and Testament and I direct that she so act and serve without
giving any bonds and hereby revoke all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this 18th day of July,
A.D. 1904.

The foregoing instrument was signed and subscribed by S.H. Williams, the person
therein named, at Forbestown, on the 18th day of July, 1904, in the presence of
us, both present at the same time, and was at the time of his so subscribing the
same acknowledged and declared by him to us to be his will; and thereupon we, at
his request, in his presence, and in the presence of each other, subscribed our
names as witnesses thereto.
