WILL OF JOSEPH F. BETHEL

As appears in Marysville Daily Democrat - Dec. 12, 1891, page 1

A Correct Copy as Filed in the Superior Court Yesterday.

    In the name of God, amen; I, Joseph Bethel of Marysville, county of Yuba, State of California, of the age of 60 years and being of sound and disposing mind and memory, and not acting under duress, menace, fraud or undue influence of any person, whatever, do make, publish, and declare this my last will and testament, in manner following, that is to say:  First, after all my debts are paid and discharged I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Annie Bethel, one-half of all my remaining property both personal and real; Secondly, I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Annie Ethel Bethel, the other one-half of all my property both personal and real; Lastly, I hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife Annie Bethel the executrix of this my last will and testament to serve without bond, or other security, and hereby revoke all former wills by me made.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this, the 11th day of February, in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and eighty-eight, (Seal) J.     The foregoing instrument, consisting of one page besides this, was, at the date thereof, by the said, Joseph Bethel, signed and sealed and published as, and declared to be, his last will and testament in presence of us, who, at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.  T.
