This version of the 1880 Great Register of Yuba County, California is presented alphabetically, not necessarily as they were registered. The names are spelled as they appeared in the original Register with a few exceptions. Where the correct spelling was definitely known a notation has been made of the correct spelling. Although this is for the year 1880, there are a few entries for later years. A date in the comments column is the date the registration was transferred. In a few the name of the county transferred to is given. Dates are written day/month/year. In the township column if it says Marysville, that is Marysville township. If it is the city of Marysville it will list only a Ward number. These Registration numbers will differ from the township numbers. No occupations are given for Marysville city and there are no transfer dates.
