Veteran's Memorial Page

This page last updated:  Oct. 2008

April 2004:  The Civil War section is added with the generous help and assistance of  Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Gen. George Wright Camp 22, Sacramento, CA.  Thank you!  This organization researches and documents where Civil War Veteran burials are, places flag holders on those graves, obtains headstones for Civil War Veterans who have none, along with their involvement in a variety of other projects. The Co.B, 8th Reg., Cal. Inf., SVR is a uniformed ceremonial marching unit of the Gen. George Wright Camp 22.  This group recreates the Co. B, 8th Reg., Cal. Inf. that was recruited in Sacramento County, CA.   You will see the lists here grow as we keep identifying more veteran's graves....  If you can help us identify the burial location of any Veteran which is not listed, or those known below that do not have headstones, please contact Kathy.

May 2006:  At the present time I am attempting to identify all veterans in the Marysville City Cemetery who do not have headstones.   See article.
