This list was originally compiled by James Lague and submitted by Rosemary Tonjes, Feb. 2004 to reflect the Yuba County residents buried here. THANK YOU James for all of your research! Additions were made by Cathie Manwell Adams. August 2005 – This list is updated to reflect all known burials at this cemetery from the papers compiled by Jim Lague before his death in 2004. Highlighted names are those from the original list above.

Directions: (One of many ways to reach the cemetery.) From Marysville, take Hwy. 70 toward Oroville/Chico. About 8 miles outside Marysville, turn right on Ramirez Road. After you turn on Ramirez Road, you will pass the Butte County line (7.4 miles), and 3/10 of a mile further the road will end. Take a right onto LaPorte Road at the stop sign. Down this road, you will see a cemetery on the left off in a large field (this cemetery is strictly off-limits to the public and the owners of the property will enforce “no trespassing”). You will pass through one 35mph zone, then enter a second 35mph zone as you enter the town of Bangor. About 8.1 miles from where you turned onto LaPorte Road, and in the town of Bangor will be a 4-way stop sign. Continue straight 3.4 miles after you stop. There will be a sign for Darby Road on the right. Shortly afterwards will be a road to the left called Upham Road. Go down Upham Road (gravel road) until you get to the paved section (approx. one mile) until you see the cemetery on the right surrounded by chain link fencing (about 0.2 miles on paved road). There will be a “bottom” gate. Continue past that a short distance to the main entrance.
