St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery

This cemetery is located across from the Marysville City Cemetery and contains the burial site of Meriam (Mary) Marjory Murphy Johnson Covillaud, another survivor of the ill-fated Donner Party and a sister to Harriet Murphy Pike. It was from this "Mary" that Marysville has borrowed its name.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church was one of the earliest churches established in Marysville and Yuba County.
