BUTTE COUNTY CEMETERIES
Mooretown (Feather Falls) Cemetery
Feather Falls is approximately 25 miles east of Oroville. The cemetery is located on a dirt road off of Lumpkin Road, approximately 50 yards past the Feather Falls Trail on the right hand side. The dirt road is marked (74A) and the sign for the cemetery is located another 50 yards up the dirt road. There is no sign on Lumpkin road to identify the cemetery.
The earliest recorded burial is 1869, but some unmarked graves may be older.
